Tsarra Bequette received her Pilates certification from Carrie Shanafelt at Forté Pilates. She completed her training as a Pilates teacher in 2020, but has been practicing Pilates since she was first introduced to it in 2000.
Tsarra holds a BFA in ballet and modern dance from The Boston Conservatory. She also studied at The Juilliard School and Jacob’s Pillow. After college, Tsarra had a career as a professional dancer in New York City. She spent six years performing with the dance company MOMIX, and a number of years as a freelance artist. Tsarra returned to Boise in 2017 and teaches Pilates at Forté Pilates in Hyde Park.
